When global music company [PIAS] acquired Inertia from Colin and his partners in 2017, Colin was appointed Regional Managing Director of [PIAS] Group for America and Asia Pacific, based in Los Angeles. At the beginning of the pandemic, Colin moved his family back to Australia to oversee Inertia and remained on the [PIAS] Global Strategic Board leading global strategic and business change initiatives. Colin is a founder of Handsome Tours (acquired by TEG in 2021) and remains a partner and Executive Director. Colin is also a founding partner of Fairgrounds Festival and music booking agency
Collective Artists. He was on the board of global rights organisation Merlin for 7 years and is a past
PPCA board member. Colin has worked internationally for EMI Music and started his 30 year career
as a talent scout for Mushroom Records.
